Screen frozen after fall

I dropped my 4-year old Kobo Clara BW HD on to a hard floor. Case came slightly loose but clipped back easily. Unfortunately now when it powers up, you can see there is light behind the screen, but the cover of the book i was reading is frozen in place and unresponsive. Any idea if it can be repaired? Thanks
