GFD28GSLESS Not making sending water to dispenser.

I've already dealt with this once. I recently finally gave up on the problem and just bought a new filter anyways since that's one of the first things everyone suggests since at that point mine was expired. Still didn't work. I start trying to confirm/deny that water is even getting to the fridge since this started during a snowstorm. I DO get water spewing out all the way to the last quick-disconnect at the very top of the fridge (I believe the output of the filter). So somewhere between there and the door the water is not working. Tried the water buddy, no change. Warmed the fridge up to 42 deg (the warmest it can get). It worked 24 hours later. A week passes. Water suddenly stops again (and no ice too) and warming it up now changes nothing. Almost nothing seems to exist out there for troubleshooting this model outside of overpaying for a service tech even though I basically know what is wrong I just need a straightforward path to resolve the issue. Even official GE sources will say (check the reservoir behind the veggie storage) and then not provide how to start taking apart my fridge to do so. Manual is not helpful. Any tips would help.

Here's some information that may help you to resolve the problem.

Here's the mini manual for your model refrigerator.

Run the diagnostic tests as shown by the manual to see if there are any error codes being shown during the test. If there are any codes, they will tell you what the problem is.

If you find a faulty part and it needs replacing, here's the parts list. Search through the parts diagrams to find the wanted part and linked with it you'll see the manufacturer's part number for it. Search online for that part number to find suppliers that suit you best.

As for the water tank (p/n WR17X27627) here's a video that shows how to replace it. Perhaps check if it is just clogged and needs flushing out.

Thanks for your input. I followed the video and flushed out the tank, and still no luck. In fact, after doing this, now the water tank is empty. So, I believe the problem is prior to here. Watter Buddying into the top of the back of the fridge still does nothing, and warm water just shoots back at me. Any suggestions about taking apart maybe the upper part of the ice maker where I can access the waterline and try to diagnose the problem prior to the water tank?

Here's a video that shows how to remove the ice maker (p/n WR30X28731)

I don't know your model, but at 1:23 minutes into the video (just after the ice maker assembly has been removed), you can see an outlet in the middle of the back of the cabinet (near the top) which I presume is the water inlet to the ice maker.

I did the water buddy up this inlet not being sure if it would change anything, but after purging the air I got water again! Thanks again for your help.
