Iphone was put into DUF mode because my screen was not turning on and there was some software problems before but now the iphone will not connect to the computer but it will vibrate if i plug it in to the wall after a few minutes.
Any suggestions ?

Try charging the phone for 1 hour and then reconnecting to itunes, i'd also check that the charging port is clear of gunk too. This may be that the battery is dead or the dock is the problem..if the battery is dead it will not supply enough power to wake the phone when connected to the pc. (the pc only supplies enough power to do small tasks once the phone is on) If the phone vibrates after being on wall charger for a few minutes then it sounds like a battery problem. Charge it and see what happens, if still nothing then I'd replace the battery and the LCD screen and possibly the dock. If you replace the LCD then maybe you can see what's going on...

If you do a hard restart (hold the home button for 5 seconds, while continuing with the press, push the volume down for 5 seconds, keep holding and then top button until it restarts) that should work. If not plug it into a computer, then press the top and home button for about 10 seconds, then release the power button while holding the home button until the computer detects an iPhone in restore mode. Restore the device and it should work.
