But works perfectly when using Netflix or Apple Music

Just a Guess. Games require more HP than video. As CPU heats up, fan runs faster. The only thing I can think of that screeches is a fan. A reason it would shut down would be an over heated CPU. THEREFORE, you have a fan problem. You may be able to place a few drops of oil in the right places, or replace the fan.
