Why wont my iPod touch turn on.
My Ipod switches between the low power/ charging icon and the apple symbol, but never seems to charge.

Brad, there are a few things you could try. Make sure that you have a good USB cable, check your dock connector for any debris, corrosion or bend/broken pins. Try a AC charger to charge your iPod. If that should not work I would try to replace the battery. Here is the guide for it and the battery is available right here. Be careful with the soldering so that you do not destroy the solder pads.
