I own a samsung heat pump dryer and it's been working fine until recently. When I turned it on everything seems normal. However, upon starting a drying cycle the dryer rumbles and does not spin.

I ended up calling Samsung and a technician came to have a look at the dryer. He said the PCB needed to be replaced. A few days later he came back and replaced it and the dryer has been working fine.

Can't see it in the video too well but is there an error code being shown in the washer's display screen?
If there is then here's the user manual that may help.
Go to p.50-p.51 and check if it is listed there and what it means.

There is no error code everything starts normal and no error code appears.
The dryer motor has a belt attached to the drum, check if the belt is OK.

I have the same problem. I checked my motor and all working fine. I also checked the capacitor and that is also fine. I’m running out of ideas.
But I would check the motor and capacitor

@mickeco I called in a Samsung Technician and he replaced the PCB, the dryer has been working fine. Looking through the PCB everything is glued on so I found it hard to isolate the faulty components.

I’ll have a look at that next hopefully that is the issue. The screen does turn on and the dryer turns for a second then stops for 2-4 mins, then starts for a second and repeats over and over
