My laptop fell one day , after a few weeks my laptop display went black. I could see the applications on it very dimly , but it's all black. I have it to service center and they say it's hard to fix.

Obviously a backlight issue if you can see video.
LT screens have different implementations. It may be the power, a loose cable, or the backlight LEDs themselves.
Start with resetting the cables. Then check the power, if you can determine how to access it.
If it is the LEDs, that could be "hard to fix".
