Hello, when I boot up my PS3 FAT it first opens although no signal and after 30 seconds, it shuts down automatically. The red light remains and I can boot it back up. It gives the same results though. I tried unplugging it fully and holding the power button for 30 seconds but it didn't work. Safe mode doesn't show up either. What should I do?

Lets try the easy way first!
What happens if you put a new harddrive in? Do you get a image now?
If this didn’t solved it, it could be the PSU or the motherboard (shorts). I don’t think it’s the PSU as it still showing a red light..
Please let us know how it goes, otherwise you need to take the motherboard out and check what component failed here.

That sadly didn't work. I have no idea about the motherboard and the components. I will probably take it to a service from now on. I still got the same result with a different HDD. Thanks for trying to help me!
@bimoblo17 no problem! They need to check for shorts. Also let them check the capacitor and fuses on the motherboard. Please let us know how it goes! And also what caused it, please! Good luck and thanks in advance!
I just received a PS3 Slim with exact the same issue! The PSU connector (the 2 big pins on the motherboard) corroded. I replaced that one together with 2 capacitors and this fixed it for me.
