Hi @jcg39575

It seems like there may be a slow leak somewhere and it freezes and then continues to build up. You may have to remove the ice maker and check where the water is coming from.

Here's a service manual which is also applicable to your model.

Go to p.87 to view information about the ice maker.

Here's the mini manual for your model that may also help. Run the diagnostic tests as described and check if there are any error codes pertaining to the ice maker, being shown.

Thanks. I’ve changed the motor, bucket and sensor. Still can’t figure it out.

The only one that makes any sense is error code 10

Looking at the mini manual a 00 10 code indicates FZ Icemaker Thermistor reading out of range.

Run diagnostic test 00 98 - FZ Icemaker Heater Test and check if you get the 10 error code.

This turns on FZ I/ M Heater, and displays FZ door I/ M mold thermistor temperature.

Looking at the wiring diagram on p.3 of the mini manual, it seems as though there's an ice mold thermistor in the ice maker itself.

Presumably to either measure the temp when the ice mold heater is turned on so as to know when to turn it off or to measure the temp to know that ice is available. Most probably both.

I realize that you replaced some parts of the ice maker but possibly not that thermistor (sensor) or the heater, both of which are most probably incorporated in the ice maker unit itself.

Also run test 01 00 and check if the ice maker does leak during the test.

Yes, I’ve also replaced the ice maker itself. Forgot to mention. The last thing I replaced was the thermistor. Not sure there is anything left to replace, but the door seal?

Maybe use an Ohmmeter to check all the wiring for continuity between the door board and the ice maker.

On bottom left side of p.3 of the mini manual it shows the wiring connections between the Door Board (in top cap) and the ice maker.

Thank you for your help. Tried those tests and all looks good. May need to get someone to come troubleshoot it further.
