Recently I was playing a video game on my HP laptop, of course plugged in for that extra power, when all of a sudden most part of my screen became a pinkish color except for a small, horizontal line on the top of it. I can still use it like normal, but that color makes it hard to see, is there any easy fix?

@river56183 connect an external monitor and check if that displays properly. If so, the issue is your laptops screen. If an external display shows the same anomaly, the issue is related to your video circuitry on your motherboard.
To work on your computer, use this Maintenance And Service Guide. Page 43 will show you how to replace the display assembly, if needed.

@oldturkey03 I just checked with an external display to see if it was the circuitry or the screen itself, and on the other display it looked perfectly fine. I'll see what I can do with the screen as soon as possible, might have to take it to a professional in the end, but thank you for the answer, it gave me a starting point!
