Red ring of death
After installing the fix it kit, i now get flashing ring (all four} I think its dead. any ideas?

sinisterdeuce, foremost keep in mind that the x-clamp fix is only a temporary repair. A more permanent repair would be to reflow your board. Check this guide for more information on that. As for your kit, double check to make sure all the screws are nice and snug and even. Ensure that the heatsink makes good contact and that you have good thermal paste applied. Sometimes it does require a second or third attempt to get it done. Hope this helps, good luck.
