Seems as though the digitizer (touch screen) may be faulty and needs to be replaced.
Here's a video that shows how to replace the digitizer screen in the phone. The closed captions (CC) in the video are in Spanish so if you don't understand the language, hopefully the video is self explanatory as to what to do.
Search online for ZTE Blade A3 Lite digitizer (supplier examples only) to find suppliers that suit you best.
