My new bought battery charges but unexpectedly shuts wile it has 70%

my new bought battery unexpectedly shuts down while it has more than 70% charge and it does not opens unless the charge is plugged in. please help me

With the charger connected to the laptop and the laptop turned on etc, create a battery report to check the status of the battery.

When you have the report, compare the Design Capacity value versus the Full Charge capacity value as shown by the report. For a good new battery they should nearly be the same value.

You can use the formula Full Charge Capacity value x 100 ÷ Design Capacity value to work out the percentage.
