Kenmore oven PF diagnostics

The PF is on and when you turn the top of the stove on the oven heats as well even though it is switched to the off position

Hi @meredithsams,

Usually these ovens (if it is similar to what you have selected) have 2 power feeds connected to them i.e. 2 x 120V AC so perhaps the PF error code is indicating a "Power Failure" of some kind.

Check that both of the fuses for the oven in the household power box are OK. Usually they will be marked as oven or stove.

If the fuses are OK it may be a control board problem.

Please confirm the model number of the oven?
