My laptop display not run.How to fix it?

Is the drive activity light (between the charge light and the airplane mode light) on the laptop flashing indicating the hard drive is working and that the OS has been loaded etc?

If not, can you get into BIOS with a display showing on the laptop screen? Restart the laptop and press the F2 key and check.

If so try connecting an external monitor (TV?) to the laptop's HDMI port and check if you get the laptop display showing OK on it. Don't forget to toggle the laptop's Fn + F8 keys (both together) to switch the display output from laptop screen only, to external monitor only to both on together.

If there is a display seen on the external monitor, switch the display back to the laptop screen and then try shining a flashlight at an angle close to the screen and check if you can see any images at all on the screen.

They will be very faint if they are there, so trying this in a darkened room may help.

If you can see images then there's a backlight problem with the laptop screen. This could be due to a faulty motherboard backlight power supply, a faulty (damaged) video cable or a loose video cable connection either on the motherboard or in the screen or a faulty screen.
