As the title asks: does the screen replacement come with the display cables? I'm supposing / hoping so, as I inevitably damaged the screen during a battery swap, and also managed to snap one of the display cables. So: ideally the screen replacement comes with the display cables as well...?

If you're asking about the ifixit screen, then yes, it does appear to come with the display cables, as you will see if you flip to the second image in the attached link. There also appears to be a small connector, with no cables attached, at the bottom of the screen.
Also, according to a notice on the page, there are two different types of surface displays that are not compatible and the only way to tell them apart is to closely inspect that connector. I haven't ever done any repairs on a Surface, so I don't know if there is a cable that connects to that connector or if it interfaces directly with your motherboard. If there is a cable, and that one happens to be the one you damaged, then you may have to resort to looking on eBay to find that cable.

I might be missing the detail in the image to which you've linked - which is the item I was asking about, and I apologize for not linking it myself - as I only see the connector and not the cables. But I think maybe I'm misreading your statement and you're confirming that the screen has connectors in general, and I had more intended to ask if the purchase of the screen from ifixit supplied the cables.
Anyhow, thank you for the reply, the reminder about the pin difference, and the suggestion to pick some cables up from elsewhere; I believe I will do just that. Thanks!
