Does it allow you to bypass the error? This may not be anything that will affect your ability to use the computer. The TPM or Trusted Platform module isn’t inherently necessary for functionality (unless you’re running Windows 11) but it does store secure data like a Bitlocker Key if your drive is encrypted.

So strictly speaking you don’t need it. That doesn’t mean your computer might not throw a hissy fit if it expects there to be one, but it isn’t detected.

Your BIOS might just need to be updated, TPM may have even been inadvertently disabled in BIOS. If it will let you bypass the error, I would check dell’s support site for an updated version of BIOS

Thank you for the response.

Yes, the computer is working well, but recently, I installed Windows 11, and I had to make some adjustments in the BIOS because my device doesn't support Windows 11. Two days ago, I updated the BIOS to the latest version from the official website.

Is there a solution to hide this message because it's annoying?

I am a technician and a computer hardware engineer, and I know it requires reprogramming the BIOS file, but I wanted to know if there is another, better solution.

Thank you for your help once again.

@kingman28622 Where do you get the alert? Is it within Windows? Or is it a pre-boot warning?

door

@flannelist in pre-boot warning

@kingman28622 You may be able to disable those through BIOS. I have seen before in Dells that you can turn those off in some cases (usually for charger errors) but it may apply for something like this as well. I would check BIOS settings to see if there is a way to disable this sort of warning.

@flannelist "The problem is that there are no options related to TPM."
