Hi @dellcutie

To remove/replace the USB-C charge port connector you will need to remove the systemboard from the laptop as the port is soldered onto the systemboard.

Here's the service manual taken from this support webpage for the laptop.

Go to p.29 to view the procedure to remove the systemboard.

Once it is out you will need smd (surface mount device) soldering skills and tools to do the repair.

Here's a video that shows in general what is involved in replacing a USB-C port on a board, that may help.

Search online for Dell XPS 13 9365 2-in-1 Type C USB charging port (supplier examples only), to find supplier that suit you best.

smd soldering, especially on multi pin connectors is not for beginners. Perhaps some practice beforehand on an old board which has a USB-C connector may be advisable.

Alternatively, order a replacement USB-C connector and once you have it, then remove the systemboard from the laptop and take both to a reputable, professional laptop or electronics repair service and ask for a quote to replace the connector. This will reduce the costs of the repair as all they have to do is to replace it, as you have supplied the part and also disassembled the laptop to remove the board and then will reassemble it again in the laptop
