Mainboard heated/reballed components

I heated the motherboard of the a51, and I think the solder joints on the board have reconnected properly. Before, it used to get stuck during startup.

My question is, what happens if the motherboard gets a short circuit or if components fail again?

Is there a risk from the battery?

@heyro3 none of that should cause a battery failure but your phone will stop working. If you have a short circuit it maybe unable to perform a certain function i.e. No WiFi, no Camera etc. and maybe not charging, but it should not directly affect the battery.

Just heating a motherboard is never a good idea. You would need proper temperatures and proper procedures. You will need to protect the circuit board and other components from excessive heat, You may get some results but most of those are non-lasting. Reheating is at best a reflow but it is not a reball.
