Hi @erickamau,

With the laptop turned on, try connecting an external monitor (TV?) to the laptop's HDMI port and check if it shows a display OK.

Don't forget to press the F10 key (or Fn + F10) a few times to toggle the display between showing the laptop screen only, the external monitor only or both laptop screen and external monitor screen on together.

If there's no display on the external monitor either then it may be a motherboard problem or perhaps the laptop isn't even starting and passing POST (power on self test)

If there is a display on the external monitor, then try shining a flashlight at an angle close to the laptop's screen and check if you can detect any images on the screen at all. They will be very faint so try this in a darkened room to help see them if they are there.

If you can see images on the screen when using a flashlight, then there's a screen backlight problem in the laptop. This could be either a faulty backlight power circuit on the motherboard, a faulty video cable/cable connection between the motherboard and the screen or a faulty screen.

If you can't see any images on the screen when using a flashlight, this could be due to a faulty video cable/cable connection or a faulty screen
