Compressor only runs for 30 seconds

Does it continually only run in 30 second bursts with pauses in between?

Wondering if it is a problem with the compressor motor run winding.

Here's the part list for the model. I'm only linking this as it shows that the wiring diagram as shown on the title page is part # 27006006822

There's not much in the compressor circuit but if there's a problem with the compressor motor run winding (or the starter?) the protector might operate to signal the control board to disconnect the power to the compressor so as to prevent the start winding from burning out.

The wiring diagram shows a starter but it and the capacitor are not mentioned in the parts list. Maybe worth looking to see if there is one (or both) mounted near the compressor as it may be the problem (if there is one).

This supplier shows the capacitor replacement part for the model though some others don't. Very strange

You would need an AC clamp meter to see what current was being drawn by the motor when it starts and whether it drops after the motor has run up to speed as the starter should disconnect the start winding so that the motor can operate on the run winding only.

The amperage figures should be shown on the motor compliance plate.

It's either that or a control board problem.
