Sharp 60 truns on but shows Black screen no remote

Truns on but All I get is black screen. Do I need the original remote to fix

What is the model number of the TV?

Have you tried using the TV control buttons (if it has any) to see if you can access the menus screens with a display?

Is there sound heard when the TV turns on?

@namay depending on the model and if you have sound or not, some of the 60 “ have had failure of the panel. Not saying your does but keep that in mind. We do need the details about your tV as requested
