Kaileena Fullbuster first check your charger. Make sure it has proper output. Then check your charging cable. Check to make sure connectors are not bend etc. After that, check the charging port. Clean it of any debris etc, use a few puffs of air to clean it out. If none of this works, get a USB ammeter and see if your phone draws and amperage from the charger. if it does not it is possible that this is a charging port issue or a bad battery. Both can be repaired

If what @oldturkey03 said did not fix it and your phone still has some battery life left go into Settings > Device Health > Scroll down to the bottom and select diagnostics > Battery Status. If your battery health is bad, you might bring it to a shop, or repair it yourself, iFixit sells lots of great kits for this type of thing (they don't sell one for the AO1 to my knowledge) it also could be a charging port issue like @oldturkey03 said and if you don't know what's causing the issue for a fact maybe bring it to a Samsung shop or your carrier if they do repairs.

@that+person4451 just a bit of advice from an old guy. Your answers are good, just remember that the goal for iFixit is to empower anyone to fix their own devices. Taking the device to a repair shop or the manufacturer for repair, should always be the absolute last option. Remember that

@lauriejarrott if you've checked everything I stated in my original answer, time to start replacing the charging board and the battery then re-evaluate.
