Electrical malfunction of lights and hazards TDI MK6

I'm going to do a multimeter test. But my lights all are showing up as our. As well hazards will run.

I'm going to check fuse box as well. I just put a dry cell AGM battery in and wonder if I possibly overloaded the fuse in doing so

Intermittently the signal lights will run fast like they have burnt out or will just turn on on rear turn signal and instead of flashing it just stays on without flashing.? Any more ideas?

Adrienne Melnick are you referring to ALL lights or just signal and hazard lights? This sounds like an issue with the BCM (no more relays for the hazard/turn signal. all controlled by the BCM now) It is located under the driver side of the dashboard and to the left of the steering wheel. The very first thing I would try is to scan the OBDII and see if it pops up any codes and this may just coincide with your battery change

took apart switch relay from engine fuse compartment, and it needed to be soildered. no more issues with lightt panel. I had placed An AGM dry cell battery and it over loaded a few fuses. so far so good with fix and replacements. EGT Sensor circuit one bank one also replaced, now clean ego valve and remove cat converter clean with detergent and reinstall. regeneration occurred with diesel particulate is completely clean. all tests with electrical and testing with Ohm tester are clear. new battery assisted. alternator still strong and working. MK^ still has issue with moisture in the cabin of car this is a noted issue but dehumidifier packs are helping and no more moldy leather seats. car will be going for a major detail and shampooing in spring. Canadian winters are hard. vehicle is kept in a dry heated garage.
