LCD Screen Replacement compatibility issues

Started with battery failure. (Swelled and lifted the screen) Replaced the battery, then it wouldn't power on. Worked it down to 3.3v missing. Replaced the motherboard as smd replacement issues not my "wheel-house". Now, video is jittery. I have also tried different display drivers, no change. Tried the video out to a monitor, no jitterproblem with the video there, but still jittery on the LCD screen. Saw another post that cited difference with 'Samsung' screens vs. 'L.G.' screens. Need some help on how to identify the right screen for my hardware. Secondary question. Is the video path different for the LCD screen, and the Monitor output jack? The jittery screen seems to appear after my Surface Pro 4 is on for a short time ~ about 5 minutes. I have also tried different display drivers, no change.

Unless you replaced the video board and cables in addition to the display, you shouldn't be able to connect the "wrong" display.

You can confirm which display you have installed by looking at the properties of the monitor in Device Manager. If the "Hardware ID" starts with "SDC3853", it is a Samsung display. (See attached image.)
