Is the Focal Bathys battery user replaceable?
Is the Focal Bathys battery replaceable, and if so, is it possible for a regular person to do so?

Unfortunately at the moment they aren’t any parts or guides due to them being so new so it’s hard to say if the battery will be easily replaced But from what I have seen the battery’s are built in so it will need to be taken apart for the battery to be replaced
If you wait a couple months you might see replacement parts and guides for repairing repairing them but at the moment there aren’t any
So once there are guides I would check the guides out and see if it’s something you are comfortable doing:-)

FYI, A recent review on headphones.com youtube channel indicated that they had contacted Focal , and were told that Focal will be able to replace the battery in future, but no info on cost or if it will be an end user friendly process.

200 dollars (100 for battery + 100 for service)
The battery is lightly glued in left ear cup with a quick disconnect easy to replace so where are the replacement batteries
Thats ridiculous I'll throw it away I'm not paying $100 for a $5 battery and a hundred to remove an ear pad and four screws to remove transducer plate to replace a $5 battery that their charging a hundred for. Greed has gotten out of control. 5 minute DIY job. Just supply the parts.
Did you not see printed battery specifications when you opened up the left earcup ? if yes..
Take note of battery specifications then order similar specs on Ali Express.
After all most component on Focal Bathys are made in china except for the drivers which are "made in france"...
When new battery arrives, cut + - wire from old battery midway to quick connector, leaving the quick connector wire intact/inline then,
solder new battery + - wire to + - wire from the quick connect, use strong 3M double sided tape to secure battery back on the earcup.
I have not done it yet but that what I will do when its time for a new battery.

I just called Focal USA and they have not yet had a battery replacement. If under warranty, they just replace it. When the batteries start to go, they'll probably come up with a cost, but these are so new, they haven't replaced any yet.
