Why does my speaker not connect
My speaker is not conecting to Bluetooth and it doesn’t on light but it bring sound when I on ot

Try a hard reset
JBL Flip 5 Reset
- Power on your device.
- Press and hold the play and the volume + buttons at the same time.
- Maintain this position for about 5 secs.
- The device will power off as it restores to the factory default.
- Power on your Flip 5 again, and it will have restored to the factory default.

What a worthless, absent answer. I'm sooo glad this account was deleted. Copy pasting FAQ should be grounds for account deletion. We don't waste our time on a forum until we already wasted our time on your faq. Wasting *more* time finding out that it's *you* saying *that* makes it even more annoying. At what point do we get to charge money to companies for wasting our time with their incompetence?
@Dwight Mitchell When someone doesn’t read the faq and asks a question that could have been answered but reading the faq. You get the faq-ing answer.
This did not work for me on my flip 5, however I found another answer that said to hold the play and volume down buttons for a few seconds. This resulted in the device powering off and resetting. The device has become responsive again. Hope this helps in case the other method doesn't work.

hello, i want to discuss this problem as it started happening to my JBL flip 5. (mind my grammar), it was working perfectly fine the day before this happened. first, i connected my speaker to my phone as usual, but it would say it has connected. it did show that the device connected on the JBL Flip 5 with the bluetooth light solid on. but a second or two later, it disconnected. and the same thing happened across all my devices i connected it to, i also referred to resetting the speaker by pressing the plus and play button. but still did the same thing. i don't know if this is an issue with other JBL Flip 5's out there. or its a BT receiver issue, i don't know. if anyone can tell me why my speaker is acting the way it is and/or if there is a way to fix the issue. it would be very appreciated. thanks.
