Wifi antenna - broken pad on motherboard

Hi.

My friend gave me a motherboard that I need to repair. It has problems with the WiFi connection. When i took it apart I noticed that the upper connection for the WiFi antenna is missing and one of the pads (the right pad) for the center pin is completely missing from the board.

Does anyone know if theres anywhere like a test pad etc. to make a jumper wire from or can i piggy bag from the pad from the antenna connector below it? Using a wifi dongle is not an option.

Wifi is working - but the range is extremely limited.

Thanks!

UPDATE:

Block Image

Thanks to openboardview i managed to find the correct location for the jumper wire.

The location is under a rf shield - so it has to be unsoldered first. I'll give it a try :)

Regards, Simon

Can you not expose some of the trace for the centre pin and run a wire from there?

HeyThe center pin is gone too and I'm not sure where the trace goes since it's a dual layer board. I will upload an image once I get home.
