Why does my UPS keep tripping a circuit breaker on my main board?
My UPS keeps tripping my mains (at least one of the circuitbreaker it is connected to). Regardless of which plug I use in the wall, the moment i switch on the UPS it trips my mains board. The UPS functions though as I am able to connect devices and use the battery power -- as long as the mains arent connected to the UPS. Faulty board inside the UPS? Could it be the circuit breakerinside the UPS which may be faulty?
Is dit een goede vraag?

...it probably has to do with the capacitors...either the capacitors are bad, or the DC inrush is tripping the breaker...you could start with the time constant of the capacitor against the breaker curve.
