How to change top flex cable or on/off block?

Sony a6400 on/off switch

Hello, my a6400 simply doesn’t turn off, even when I switch to “off“ position, the camera works just fine, the only issue is that I have to take the batery out to turn off the camera.

I suspect that the tiny lever from the flex cable os broken.

I need a step-by-step teardown of this part of the camera, ir order to replace the top flex cable or the whole block if it’s easier, below are the images of the components I need to replace;

@arturjeronimo the only thing I can offer is the SM ILCE6400 which will show you step by step how to disassemble your camera. Now once you follow that manual, remember to help out the next person ;-)

While you work on your drive, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has the same problem as you do.
