1 Why does the dishwasher fill and drain multiple times on cycle start?
Hello - This is model DUL200PKS1. Every thing is working fine with out any diagnostic lights, except for the unit filling and draining multiple times at the start of the cycle. Heating element works fine. It does complete the cycle, it just wastes heated water at the start of the cycle. I’ve checked the float switch and works fine. I don’t really want to swap parts without a good diagnosis, and would prefer to not buy new if it is repairable! Thank you.

Don't know the answer but if you haven't already done so, check behind the kickplate (toeplate?) and see if the tech sheet is there in a plastic sleeve. (Whirlpool part # LIT8533345 - can't find it online)
This will show you how to get into the dishwasher diagnostic test mode so that all the functions can be manually tested.
It will also give the causes for any diagnostic error codes that may be produced.
Hopefully it may even have a wiring diagram as well.
