I’m looking for a new replacement USB-C connector for my iPad Pro 11 inch 2020, but the part available on Ifixit is for the 2018 & 2020 iPad Pro 12.9 and only the 2018 iPad Pro 11 inch.
Can the USB-C connector for sale on Ifixit also be used on the iPad Pro 2020 11 inch model? Model number = A2228.

From what I can tell yes they use the same charging port

I just replaced mine actually. It's the same one. Same part number and everything, even though the part description didn't mention the A2228 as compatible.

hi David, did you replace it by yourself? Did the ipad have problem in charging and reading external devices (ssd or flashdik) too?

Yes, I did replace it myself. It wasn't terribly hard... The worst part was removing the old adhesive for the screen before putting the new adhesive on.
I had no connectivity for charging or anything else.
