Hello want to connect my airtag to a key ring and wondering where I should drill the hole.

@isakrittl - You know this could be a useful kit if people really want to go this route!
A 3D printed block to hold the tag and align the drill. The last piece is a wire cable which has a one way clasp (tube type) that can feed through the hole Stainless Steel Wire Keychains Aircraft Cable Cable Key Ring for Hanging ID Tags or Luggage Tags, 6.3 inch by 2mm or Stainless Steel Wire Keychain Cable - Colored

Why do you guys like drilling holes so much? You drill holes on your ears, lips, noses, cheeks, upper, lower and nether lips.

I mean you can drill a hole into a drilled hole, so maybe air since there is nothing to drill a hole in :P
@tomchai - I think the idea is to do away with the holders. Tile and the others design have a means to tether it within.
I've seen some woman with the ears peppered with holes and loaded with rings. And even a few guys with giant holes with plugs! Its a thing for many ;-}

Hello Jed,
First of all, do NOT drill a hole, it will ruin the device. I looked this up on PocketNow.com and they said it is better to get a holder for the AirTag. Some of these include the Belkin Secure Holder for $12.95 or some Apple products that range in price from $29 to $39. If you do not want to spend that much money there are some cheaper alternatives that you could find with a simple Google search. I hope this helps.

To add to it the hole would be very small as there just not enough space from what people had discovered.
Get a proper holder or glue it down to something.
