Why does the device randomly shut off?

I’ve done 2 battery replacements on this device. The problem still remains. When the device is powered on, it immediately powers off like the battery was unplugged. It does it at any percentage, and has done it while charging. I bought my second battery here. I knew the first one was bad because it would automatically turn off below 30%. With the new one, it turns off at any percentage. What could cause this?

Can you boot into recovery mode? It could be that you received once again a bad battery (it happens). Or something else is causing the bootloop like a logic board issue or maybe even an issue with the power button itself. What does it do when you connect it to a pc?

@bramdriesen

It functions as normal for the most part. Just goes through a spell of not wanting to be on. I can put it in recovery mode and have cleared the cache. I can browse files and the pc recognizes it no problem. Even when it doesn't want to stay on. My mom uses this phone everyday. She takes it with her, it's fully charged, and when she comes home of an evening it's typically about 50% or so and it goes through the not wanting to stay on spell. Even with a brand new battery that my s8 plus has no trouble with.

I would have a look in the battery consumption section to see what exactly is draining the battery. Maybe there are some malicious apps installed?

Your Os Might Be corrupted I would Recommend You Reset the Whole Phone By shutting off the Whole Phone Then Press and hold the Volume Up + Bixby + Power buttons at the same time. Release all buttons when the phone vibrates. Now wait until you see the Android icon Now your in Recovery Mode I will link a Video Below.

Still does it after the recovery mode factory reset. Is there any part on the logic board I should check? If all else fails I have another board in a parts frame.
