I forgot my password but I still have the Google ID.

I forgot my screen lock password on my Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6, but I don’t know how to recover my password, but I don’t want to factory reset or wipe my tablet. It is from 5 years ago. I don’t see the option that says “Forgot password?” Can somebody help me? I know the email address and the password for but but I don’t know my tablet’s screen lock password.
