I have a kenmore elite washer and a f5 error code come up I had a repair man come out but he told me it was nothing he can do cause he could not find the serial or model number please help

Is it a top loader or a front loader model?
Longshot but you may be able to identify it by looking at images of Kenmore Elite washers.
Are you sure that it is a F5 and not a F05 error code?
Looking at Kenmore washer error codes in this link, the only model that has something close to a F5 is this one and it shows F05.
