How to Fix Lines on Screen

I dropped my Android J7 Star while riding on my bike. At first glance, it displays only a red screen with some smudges at the top (perhaps the notification bar). When trying to restart, it first displays a white rectangle down the middle of the screen with the sides of the screen being black, and then if you continue to hold the power button a mixture of white, pink, and redlines all across the screen. Is there a way to fix it?

Sounds a s though the fall has either loosened the display cable connection or more likely has damaged the LCD display.

The phone would need to be opened and checked and if the cable connection was secure then as a DIY repair all you can try next is to replace the screen.

Here’s the ifixit [gekoppeld product ontbreekt of is uitgeschakeld: IF380-003] part just to give you an iea of the cost of the part. There are other suppliers online that may suit you better.

If doing all this seems too daunting to do yourself, contact a reputable, professional mobile phone repair service and ask for a quote to repair the phone.
