Getting Data Back From A Dead S7

Hey,

so i had a Samsung S7 edge and few months before it's death it started randomly shutting down and taking a while to turn back on then it eventually died , i tried taking it to Samsung's rapair center , they took a look and told me they had to replace the entire motherboard and i will lose the data in the process , i tried going to a local repair shop and they said it was cpu related issue(they didn't seem sure), so my question : is there any way i can Get the phone to work and get the Data back? or is it just gone forever.

please note that i can’t really get my phone to a Data Recovery Center (too expensive..)

Maybe try consulting with iPad Rehab or STS Telecom. They specialize in data recovery and board level repairs but just to warn you, it may be difficult for them to do it. I’m not sure what it’ll take to get your data back, but if the CPU isn’t coded to anything, they might be able to replace the processor.

Because they aren’t as popular as iPhones and other apple products, there really isn’t a whole lot of access to schematics or diagrams to fix the boards. Don’t get me wrong, apple is a pain to deal with when it comes to getting access to support documents from them, but because they’re so popular, we have found ways to obtain schematics and diagrams for them.
