Screen repair LG G8X Thinq
I have the LG G8X Thinq which fell and cracked the screen. I ordered a replacement screen however it did not come with instructions and I can not find any online.

Sir, Actually This LG G8x ThinnQ is Dual Screen phone. So my issue relate to Dual screen. Sir When Ever i attached My Mobile to Dual Screen Panal Its Start Charging. How Can i fix it Please guide me

Here’s a video that shows how to replace the screen on a G8 ThinQ that may help.
I realize that this is not your exact model, but looking at the differences between the specifications for the two models, it seems that there are only better hardware “features” on the G8x (bigger screen, better protective glass, better cameras etc) but I would think that essentially replacing the screen should be the same.
If you can’t find a teardown video for your exact model then you may have to use this one as a guide at least.

Thank you. I will check it out. I was just weary of other G8 model teardowns since the fingerprint reader is in the screen on the G8X rather than on the back of the others.

Yes I was able to change it, however I ended up damaging the very thin plastic gasket between the screen and case. So if you are attempting be careful of this because you can not get a replacement for that. Ultimately the screen was damaged requiring an additional repair. This time I went for the replacement screen with case so all you have to do it swap out the guts of the phone.
