There’s not a lot of information regarding the RF (Radio) subsystems on the iPhone logic boards. They rarely fail or cause issues and typically have very rugged solder joints due to their packaging style.
The F_TRI_RF IC appears to take the combined CELL/WiFi/GPS signal and filters and separates them before going downstream for further processing.
