How do I repair the power cord when the grounding plug breaks off?
The grounding pin broke off of my power plug on my Breville Smart Oven. How can I repair/replace the plug?

And then follow instructions like this

You will find three wires inside the power cord. The ground wire will either be in green insulation or uninsulated (other than the outer cover).

Buy a new plug at any place that sells hardware. Don’t buy the cheapest one but the most expensive one is not needed. They are usually around $6.00 Follow the instructions.. White wire to Silver screw, Black to Brass, Green to green. Make sure outer jacket is into end of plug housing and gripped. There should be no individual wires visible. Entire process about 10 min using wire cutter stripper, razor knife and appropriate screwdrivers. Good Plugs or Cord caps as they are known are made by Leviton, Pass-Symore Legrand and Hubble. All make different grades but Hubble is on the higher end.
