MacBook 12 A1534 2016 won’t turn on

Hello,

yesterday I repaired my MacBook screen. I forgot to hit the small yellow button on the motherboard before disconnecting the trackpad cable. At this moment the MacBook won’t turn on or give any sign of live. When I disconnect the battery and connect the MacBook to the charger and hit control + option + shift and power button (SMC reset) the white led on the motherboard turns off after 5 sec. When I put the charger back in the MacBook the white light starts to shine again. The charger that works good makes a little noise when the Macbook is plugged in.

Does anybody have a solution to fix this MacBook or does anybody have the same problem ?

So since you did not disconnect the battery, there may be a short to ground somewhere. This sounds like a logic board issue. Unless you can mico solder you will need to find somebody who can. This company does MacBook logic board repairs. https://www.rossmanngroup.com/

This could be a board issue due to not disconnecting the battery. Try looking on the logic board for any capacitors that may be burned or just look kind of ‘weird’. in my experience with MacBooks I have scraped off bad capacitors with my finger nail and the computer returned to working nature.
