Zoom lens jammed, screen said error, what happens?
The camera turn on fine, the zoom button is ok, then I zoomed something, and the screen goes black, and ask for a restart.

the first thing that comes to my mind is a stuck lens. I would definitely start with trouble shooting that. Check this link and see if that will help you.
