If the antenna cable has been damaged you will most probably have to replace it as trying to repair the cable (it is a two wire cable, the signal wire and a shield wire) could lead to losses in the signal strength which could cause WiFi performance problems, e.g. dropouts and also reduced operating distance from an access point.

Replacement antennas are available online. Here’s a link to just one supplier. It is only shown to give you an idea of the cost of the part. There are other suppliers that may suit you better. Just search for Dell Inspiron 11 3162 WLAN antenna cable to get results.
