i had broken my touchscreen so recently i got it replaced by a first copy(unoriginal) touchscreen. it was working fine till i updated my software to MI10. After that it stopped responding entirely. what should i do? will downgrading or a factory reset solve it?i still haven’t tried either of the two options.

i am using redmi note 7 pro , just now i have updated july 2020 patch and it stopped my touch . Now my phone’s touch is disabled. However i went to MI service centre and shown them this , it was software issue they hard reset my phone now it is working. this suckss .I lost trust over MI next time No MI phones .

Same problem issue is solved but same problem happening again and again it stop touching need to wait 2 to 3 hours and it works again...
No use of it…
You can try some tricks but wont say it will definitely work for you

I don’t have any experience of this issue on this device however whenever I encounter this sort of problem I would attempt a reset first then another software update. If that doesn’t work I would attempt to downgrade, if that doesn’t work there’s possibly a physical issue with the new screen. I would expect the reset to solve the issue.

Same problem here a year after un Redmi Note 8nPro. Xiaomi is disgustting, I'm angry. Touchscreen stopeed working after MIUI 12.5, how the !&&* don't they solve this??
They just killed my phone.

Redmi Note 8 Pro, screen oem replaced, worked fine until the last update, now it has no touch.
I was a Xiaomi supporter and i recommended their phones to all my customers,
I will still recommend them, but only to my enemies.
