Why do I get "Invalid Contact" when I search my contacts?
When I search for a known contact in my phone I get “Invalid Contact”. It happens when I search for someone to start a text or phone contact

Hi @wandaa , are the contact on the SIM or in the phone?

Just export the contacts to a VCF file. Or if u are signed into Google it is automatically backed up to cloud.
Go to
Settings->apps-> contacts -> Clear ALL DATA.
Restart phone. It must start syncing contacts from Google

Actually its not in my phone contacts it's in the texting part.
