Jabra 65T Left Ear Issue

Hi,

I am having some issues with my Jabra Elite 65T true wireless earbuds.

The left ear cuts in and out quite a lot. The right one is fine it is only the left one.

I think there could be a connection issue maybe a wire within the earbud, does anyone know how to open these earbuds?

Thanks for any advise give,.

Have you tried cleaning the little hole on the inner surface of the earbud? There's a tiny hole on the inside, looks like a reset button type hole. Stick the end of a toothpick or something in there and try and clean it. I had the same issue and after searching online found this as a suggestion. Don't know why, but it most definitely fixed the issue I had with the left earbud not working.

at first, try to see the inner problem as told by Lane if the problem is still there then it must be a malfunction issue. Whenever you buy these headphones after using it, put the headphones inside a pouch as they are too much sensitive. Jabra 65 t came with a spare pouch try to use it, might help you.

For what it’s still worth, I had this too, and Jabra released a new firmware version, that solved this for me.

Similar issue here. Using latest firmware according to their ios app.

I have reset the earbuds several times, after pairing i press volume down on left earbud, and it lights up yellow in the ios app.

Right earbud works fine, and i can adjust volume with left earbud, but no audio in left earbud

After doing some more testing I find that sometimes audio fades in when I press it firmly into my ear, but when I then even think about touching it later the audio disappears. I think the left earbud must be faulty.

But it is within warranty, so I'll just take it back to the store.

Please don't take the following as gospel as I could be wrong, however, I'm fairly certain this may be the cause

The right earbud acts as a receiver and transmitter for the entire system. As well as the speaker driver and battery, the right earbud also contains the Bluetooth receiver and radio transmitter. The left earbud, if you've not realised, does not receive an audio input unless in near vicinity to the right one when it is receiving Bluetooth audio input. I am fairly sure that the left earbud works via receiving a radio signal from the right-sided one, and is not connected in any other way.

The reason for a quiet left-sided earbud could be from two possible reasons related to this fact:

  • The transmitter is in the right-sided earbud is damaged/faulty
  • The receiver in the left-sided earbud is damaged/faulty

The only other reason for this particular type of fault could be a damaged driver.

Saying all of this though I can say in confidence that it is not economically recommended to attempt to diagnose or repair this product as it is outdated and extremely difficult to make the reconstruct. It would make more sense to purchase another set of earbuds as it would be much cheaper and time-efficient.
