Screen and power light flash until I put into recovery mode .Still won

I spilled something on my chromebook. Now when i turn on the blue power light and the screen flash on and off. If I hit keys for recovery it will stop flashing and I can enter a recovery disk and it will go through the whole recovery process. When it tells me to pull recovery disk and it will automatically restart it just Goes back to flashing off and on.
