Why is there little to no water coming out of the boiler?

First off, I have the ECO310 (sorry this model doesn’t seem to be listed among the appliances, but seems like it’s a similar deal and I hope I can get some help).

My machine is turning on just fine, but it only releases very little (just dripping) water through the boiler outlet, even without the portafilter or any filter attached. Oftentimes on an immediate second attempt, no water comes out anymore. The steaming wand, however, is perfectly fine and with really good pressure, so I’m sure the pump is not broken. I’ve done all the troubleshooting I know: (1) water tank is full; (2) already descaled through the steaming wand; (3) already cleaned the boiler filter and the spring-and-ball inside. I also attempted descaling through the boiler, but no water comes out even after 10-15 minutes with the pump on.

I would get coffee from the machine after a few minutes of no usage, but it drips really, really slowly unlike what I observed in YouTube videos. And I’m not even sure if it’s espresso I’m getting from then. I took a video of it in action for you to better understand what I mean: https://photos.app.goo.gl/ac6KFbmnCGpvzJ...

EDIT: I already figured it out. The spring inside the boiler outlet is a bit too stretched, thus creating an overly tight seal that prevents good flow of hot water. I compressed the spring a little and loosened the flatheat piece, and now it’s working fine.

Hi, I have the exact same problem. May I ask, how do you open up the boiler compartment and where is the spring located?

This worked for me as well. You get to it by unscrewing the main screw right in the middle of the boiler (where the water comes out). Take out the metal piece that the water/espresso comes through. Then take a flathead screwdriver and unscrew the gold metal piece that sits underneath there (no need to remove the rubber). Behind that screw is the spring.

Already done that with the descaling procedure. Anyway, I already figured it out. Thanks though!
