i want to replace the wlan card to a ac card , is that possible and am i bound to a brand?

Hi!
In theory you should be able to upgrade to any WLAN card you like, as long as the form factor is the same. However, depending on your BIOS certain WLAN cards may not work. It’s best to search around for a model that is compatible with your laptop.
